Gasthof in Mayrhofen provided a delightful family vacation for us, perfectly blending adventure and relaxation. Its tranquil location, nestled amidst greenery, offered a peaceful retreat yet was conveniently close to the city center. We approached the property via a scenic 20-minute walk from the train station, though the 4104 bus made it accessible as well. The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, ideal for our family needs. With two prominent ski lifts nearby, we could easily access skiing opportunities, while the sauna and heated boot racks were appreciated after a day on the slopes. Each morning began with a satisfying breakfast, served in a friendly atmosphere that truly caters to families. One highlight was the family-run restaurant just a two-minute stroll away, where we enjoyed meals on a lovely patio. the staff's willingness to allow us to use lockers while we hiked the Berliner High Trail was a practical touch we valued greatly. Gasthof strikes a commendable balance between a quiet retreat and easy access to local activities. We recommend this property for families seeking a welcoming place for their adventures in the Alps. We look forward to our next visit, perhaps for an extended stay.
